Volunteer Orientation

Faith in Action of McHenry County desires for you to make the most out of your volunteer experience. In order to ensure success, safety, and meaning there are a few guidelines that need to be followed (besides that we want to meet you!) therefore, we ask you to attend a short orientation to our organization.

We offer four opportunities for you to attend an orientation each month.

The first Tuesday from 1:30PM - 3:00PM meeting at

The Church of Holy Apostles
5211 W. Bull Valley Road
McHenry
Use the bell tower entrance and follow the FIA signs.

The second Tuesday from 1:30PM - 3:00PM meeting at

Baxter Credit Union (BCU)
415 S Main St
Crystal Lake
Meeting in the Community Room.

The third Thursday from 7:00PM - 8:30PM meeting at

Faith in Action Offices
7105 Virginia Road, Suite 25
Crystal Lake
We are in the Virginia Commons office complex at the intersection of Rte. 14 and Virginia Road, next to Goodyear and across from Walgreen's.

The last Tuesday from 1:30PM - 3:00PM meeting at

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church
404 N. Green Street
McHenry
Meeting room next to the church office.

Please bring with you:

Driver's license
Proof of car insurance
Name, address, and phone number for 2 references
Name, address, and phone number for an emergency contact
We will also need your social security number for a background check
